Volunteering is a really valuable resource for Play Alloa.
But its a win:win situation. We aim to be an exemplary project which provides the volunteer with all the support that an employed position would provide.
Remember, volunteering isn't doing something for nothing ... its doing something amazing for no money ... and the benefits are vast !
Volunteering can provide a reference, unprecedented experience in the care sector, an employment taster prior to setting off on a new career and an opportunity to make a positive impact on the community.
Our volunteers complete an application form and receive an induction with their volunteer mentor. They also receive regular support and supervision to ensure they are happy and fulfilled in their position.
