Q. Interested in Volunteering to help support our service users and sessions?

A. Contact us for a chat and to see what we can do for each other.

Q. What type of Volunteering is possible?

A. We run a number of sessions during a week., mostly in the evenings or at the weekend.  We are looking for volunteers to work in these specific session which may involve children, young people or adults with disabilities.  We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with our summer sessions.

Q. How much time do I need to give each week?

A. Volunteer Sessions are currently 3hrs long.  You may decide to one session a week or maybe more.  We ask that you commit to this/these sessions and let us know if you are unable to attend.

Q. What skills/benefits are there for me?

A. Volunteering can give you experience of working for a team, increase your knowledge and experience of working with people with disabilities, provide you with a reference,  allow you to access training and awards, build up your confidence and communication skills and support an incredible community of children, young people and adults with disabilities. 

​

Q. How would my volunteering be affected by Covid Restrictions

A. There are clear health and safety rules that must be followed during a session but we will explain these during the volunteer training.
