YOUTH SESSIONS

Our youth club groups are aimed at teenagers aged 12-18.  These groups are based on providing an age-appropriate social experience, building friendships and developing confidence and self-esteem. 

 

Below are our Youth Activity Sessions that we currently run.

Community Crew

Day: Tuesday (term-time, fortnightly)

Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm

Venue: Play Alloa Base, 19 Broad Street, Alloa

Cost: £10 per outing

Funded by:  National Lottery Community Fund

About: We have planned a list of outings, some out in Stirling and some closer to home. A great opportunity for our youth participants to hang ouw with friends at other community places with a little support from Play Alloa.

Saturday Youth Club

Day: Saturday (term-time)

Time: 2-4pm

Venue: Play Alloa Base, 19 Broad Street, Alloa

Cost: £6 donation per session , booking required

Funded by: National Lottery Community Fund

ASN After School
Building Blocks

Day: Thursday (term-time)

Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm

Venue: Play Alloa Base, 19 Broad Street, Alloa

Cost: Each session will cost £6 and can be paid in one block (£72), or in two blocks (£36)

Funded by:  National Lottery Community Fund

About: Themed blocks of 10/12 weeks for our participants to build new skills! 

  • September - December 2026: Develop your cooking skills with our Cook 'n' Connect block.

  • TBC 2027: Upcycling Fashion

Day: Tuesday to Friday

Time: 3-5.30pm

Venue: Family Centre

Cost: Free of Charge, Booking by Referral Only

Funded by: Child Wellbeing Partnership

This after school group is for young people in secondary school, referred via the Child Wellbeing Partnership.

 

Running Tuesday to Friday from 3-5.30pm, this group offers an opportunity for parents of young people with additional support needs and extended day provision allowing them to access work, further study or simply respite.

This is a self directed play session, where children can move freely from one play activity to another at their leisure.  Each group is restricted to around or under 20 participants and is supported by around 8 members of staff plus a number of volunteers. 

 

The main focus of this group is on developing social skills, friendships and having an enjoyable time.​

 

A small meal is also provided.
